CONTINENTAL Ronald C. “Smitty” Smith, 74, of Continental, passed away on Tuesday, August 6, 2024, at Mercy Health St. Rita’s Medical Center, Lima. He was born April 20, 1950, in Continental to the late Calvin and Ruby (Ordway) Smith. On March 6, 1974, he married Linda Mooney, who survives in Continental.

Funeral service will begin at 12:00 p.m. on Friday,

August 9, 2024, at HEITMEYER FUNERAL HOME, Continental with Rev. Terry Porter officiating. Burial will follow in Monroe Cemetery, Continental. Visitation will be held from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. on Thursday and 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. on Friday prior to the service at the funeral home.
