GLANDORF Nancy A. Rosengarten, 71, of Glandorf, passed away at 6:56 a.m. on Monday, April 7, 2025 at The James OSU Medical Center, Columbus. She was born November 20, 1953, in Lima to the late Thomas and Norma (Vennekotter) Ellerbrock. On January 24, 1976, she married Dennis Rosengarten, who survives in Glandorf.
Nancy is also survived by two children: Matthew (Kristin Campo) Rosengarten of West Bloomfield and Jillian (Janson) Van Dam of Perrysburg; two granddaughters: Jackie and Abby Van Dam; and three siblings: Debra (Ken) Knueven, Suellen (Mike) Stechschulte and Brian (Diane) Ellerbrock, all of Ottawa.
In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by two brothers: Richard and Steven Ellerbrock.
Nancy was a RN and Outpatient Charge Nurse at Mercy Health St. Rita’s Medical Center, Lima for 43 years. She was a member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, Glandorf, where she helped at funeral luncheons. She enjoyed reading and always had a book with her, going to art fairs, wintering in Bradenton, Florida, and traveling all 50 states and six continents with her husband Dennis along with their travel buddies, Jerry and Lucretia. Another favorite pastime was traveling with Matt and Kristin around local area cities, checking out their breweries and restaurants. She was able to enjoy one last vacation and a boat cruise in Florida with her granddaughters making memories. Above all, Nancy loved spending time with her family and friends, especially going to all of her grandchildren’s events. She was affectionately known as Mimi (aka “Mims”) and loved babysitting her granddaughters.
Funeral Mass will begin at 10:30 a.m., Wednesday, April 16, 2025 at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, Glandorf with Fr. Matt Keller officiating. Burial will be at a later date at the church cemetery. Visitation will be held from 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. prior to Mass at the church on Wednesday, April 16, 2025. Arrangements are under the direction of LOVE FUNERAL HOME, Ottawa.
