Mary Ann was a member of Saint John’s Catholic Church in Glandorf, where she served as a Eucharistic minister and taught Christian formation classes for several years. She spent many cherished years as a stay-at-home mom to her ten children and later found joy working in the activities departments at Calvary Manor and Putnam Acres nursing homes, where her warmth and care touched many lives.
Mary Ann found happiness in the simple pleasures spending time with family, sharing coffee and playing cards, and gathering for lunch dates with her treasured group of lifelong friends. In her later years, even as she bravely endured her health decline ,due to Parkinsons disease, Mary Ann continued to make meaningful connections with those around her. At The Meadows of Kalida, she was met with kindness and love from a compassionate team of care givers especially a few special ones (you know who you are).
She never lost her quick wit, spunky sense of humor, or her deep-rooted instinct to care for others especially her children. Her spirit of love and generosity remained a guiding light to those who knew her.
