Kevin Ray Blubaugh, 75, of McComb, passed away at the Blanchard Valley Hospital on Friday, August 29, 2025. He was born in Summerset, Pennsylvania, on June 25, 1950, the son of the late Ray O. and Twila M. (Shaulis) Blubaugh.
Survivors include his daughters, Catrina M. Blubaugh-Wells, of McComb, and Angela R. (Boersma) Jaapie, of Lima. His brothers, Wayne (Evelyn) Blubaugh, of Albuquerque, NM, Lloyd Blubaugh, of Ft, Jennings, and a sister, Zola Dulle, of Columbus Grove. Preceding him in death were his parents, a brother, Leon Blubaugh and an angel grandchild.
Kevin retired from the Lima Tank Plant as a welder and later worked in building maintenance after attending Apollo Career Center. He was a 1968 graduate of Pandora-Gilboa High School. He was also a United States Marine serving in Vietnam. Kevin enjoyed watching Newsmax, singing karaoke, playing dominos, Harley Davidson Motorcycles, classic cars, making whirly gigs, and his support animals, Jack Moody, and Baby Doll. He loved listening to Elvis, and his favorite number was 8, with the biblical meaning new beginnings and resurrection.
A memorial service will be held at the Breakthrough Harvest Church, 3695 State Route 224, Ottawa, OH 45875 from 11 am until the time of the services at 1 pm on Saturday, September 20, 2025 with Pastor Jerry Meyer officiating. Burial will follow at Harmon Cemetery where members of the Hancock County Memorial Veterans Squad will accord military honors. Memorial contributions may be directed to the church.
