Elizabeth H. Hoffman, 89, of Marion, passed away peacefully on Monday, February 24, 2025, at the Embassy of Marion.
 Born on the family farm near Ottawa, Ohio, to the late Ralph and Caroline (Wenzlick) Hoffman, Elizabeth attended Miller City School before moving to Marion at the age of 16. She was a devoted member of St. Mary Catholic Church and found joy in her younger years as a member of the Marion Moose, where she loved square dancing.
 Elizabeth, known as Liz by her family, is survived by her siblings: George (Sandra) Hoffman, Bill (Barb) Hoffman, Joe Hoffman, Thomas Hoffman, Frank (Robin) Hoffman, Ann VanBuskirk, Teresa Stapleton, and Agnes Murphy. She was preceded in death by her parents, as well as her brother, Paul Hoffman, and sister, Mary Ream.
 A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Mary Catholic Church, 251 North Main Street, Marion, on Friday, February 28, 2025, at 11:00 AM, with Father Edward Shikina officiating. Friends and family may gather for visitation at the church from 10:00 to 11:00 AM, prior to the service. Burial will follow at St. Mary’s Cemetery in Marion.
