EDWARD ”ED” LINUS MORMAN

COLUMBUS GROVE – Edward “Ed” Linus Morman, age 74, passed away peacefully on Friday, December 27, 2024, at his home. He was born January 19, 1950, in Lima, Ohio to Bernard and Mary (Schroeder) Morman. On February 5, 1972, he married Jeanette R. Duling who preceded him in death on January 19, 2013.
 Ed is survived by one son, Gary (Kate) Morman of Columbus Grove and three daughters: Diane (James) Friedrich of Delphos, Joan (Shawn) Balbaugh of Glandorf, and Michelle (Ryan) Ellerbrock of Miller City; seventeen grandchildren: Grace, Mike, Hannah, Andrew, & Joe Morman, Hopelyn, Aubrey, Maisy, & Boe Friedrich, Logan, Jayla, Jacob, & Alivia Balbaugh, and Ethan, Collin, Claire, & Carly Ellerbrock; three brothers: William (Lucy) Morman of Columbus Grove, Carl (Marilyn) Morman of Glandorf, Patrick Morman of Columbus Grove; three sisters: Florence (Ben) Niese of Leipsic, Mary Morman of Columbus Grove, and Julie (Steve) Rieman of Ottawa and two sister-in-laws: Judy Morman and Alice Morman both of Columbus Grove.
 In addition to his parents and wife, Ed was preceded in death by a sister Norma, three brothers Robert, Joseph, and Ben, a son Andrew, and a grandson Isaac.
 Ed was a graduate of Columbus Grove High School-Class of 1968. He served in the Ohio National Guard and worked for Morman Brothers Construction until he took over the family farm. Ed was a very faithful man that loved nature and farming. He enjoyed going on a crop tour, a long day in the combine, hosting happy hour(s) and most of all when the family gathered. Ed lived on Faith, Family, & Farming.
 Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, January 3, 2025, at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church, 512 W. Sycamore St., Columbus Grove. Father Charles Obinwa will officiate. Friends may call from 1:00pm until 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, January 2, 2025, at Hartman-Rousculp Community Funeral Home, 10879 SR-12, Columbus Grove.
