KALIDA – Dolores L. Hoffman, 80, of Kalida, died 2:28 a.m., Saturday, May 3, 2025, at her residences surrounded by her family. She was born October 23, 1944, in Lima to the late Leonard and Rose (Foppe) Laudick. On July 23, 1966, she married Richard J. “Dick” Hoffman and he survives in Kalida.
 Also surviving are three children: Deb (Tom) Heitmeyer, Kim (James) Snipes and Jason (Erin) Hoffman all of Kalida; 9 grandchildren: Ashley (Taylor) Pothast, Stacie (Trent) Mikek, Adam Snipes, Alex Snipes, Aric (Gabby Martz) Snipes, Tyler (Jenna) Hoffman, Kennedy (Austin) Honigford, Camryn (Logan Kemper) Hoffman and Ella Hoffman; 7 great-grandchildren: Westin, Coleson and Gatlin Pothast, Graham and Callie Mikek, Holden Hoffman, SJ Honigford and one on the way; and a sister, Ruth Gerdeman of Ottawa.
 She was also preceded in death by two infant siblings: Kenny and Kathy Laudick; and a brother-in-law, Joe Gerdeman.
 Dolores retired after 38 years with Unverferth Mfg. in Kalida. She was a member of St. Michael Catholic Church, Kalida, and its Altar Rosary Society. Dolores loved to travel, especially bus trips, and was an avid fan of Kalida Wildcats, Cleveland Indians, Cleveland Browns, and Ohio State Buckeyes. She loved her family dearly and never missed an activity or sporting event.
 Funeral mass will begin at 10:30 a.m., Tuesday, May 6, 2025, at St. Michael Catholic Church, Kalida with Fr. Phil Smith officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Visitation will be from 2 to 8 p.m. Monday and one hour prior to the funeral Tuesday at LOVE-HEITMEYER FUNERAL HOME, Jackson Twp.
