Dolores A. Schroeder, 91, of Columbus Grove, passed away on Monday, March 10, 2025 at The Meadows of Ottawa. Born in Leipsic, Ohio she was the daughter of the late Vincent and Mary (Kleman) Niese. On August 11, 1954 she married Alvin “Dick” Schroeder who preceded her in death.
 She was a 4H advisor, a member of the Garden Club of Columbus Grove, American Legion Auxiliary C.L.C. of St. Anthony’s and Altar Rosary Society. She enjoyed gardening, quilting, getting together with family and spending time with grandchildren.
 She is also survived by three sons William (Tammy) Schroeder, Jeffrey (Louann) Schroeder and Michael (Wendy) Schroeder; five daughters Mary Jo (Mark) Inkrot, Nancy (Jeff) Gertsen, Jane (James) Dunlap, Sandra (Donald) Roebke and Krisann (Martin) Haselman; 32 grandchildren; 62 great grandchildren with one on the way; sisters Marie (Ralph) Pothast and Norma (Dennis) Michelsen; sisters-in-law Dorothy Niese, Eileen Niese, Ruth Schroeder and Mary Ann Schroeder. She was also preceded in death by brothers Donald (Marvelle) Niese, Paul Niese and Melvin Niese; grandson Daniel Dunlap and great granddaughter Kennedy Schroeder.
 A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 am Monday, March 17, 2025 at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church, Columbus Grove, OH with Fr. David Ritchie officiating. Visitation will be on Sunday, March 16, 2025, from 2-8 pm at Hartman-Rousculp Community Funeral Home, 10879 SR OH-12 Columbus Grove. Burial will follow at St. Anthony Cemetery.
