Diane S. Ricker

CLOVERDALE – Diane S. Ricker, 77, of Cloverdale, passed away at 3:15 p.m. on Thursday, January 23, 2025, at Mercy Health St. Rita’s Medical Center, Lima, surrounded by her loving family. She was born September 4, 1947, in Fort Jennings to the late Joseph and Henrietta (Nartker) Landin. On July 10, 1970, she married Arthur J. Ricker, he preceded her in death on January 29, 2022.
 Diane is survived by five children: Terry (Jan) Warnecke of Cloverdale, Jody (Paul) Hoersten of Ottoville, Donna (Todd) Hunt of Columbus Grove, Renee Schulte of Cloverdale, and Christine (Bill) Hunter of Convoy; fourteen grandchildren: Todd (Melanie) Warnecke, Jenna (Tyler) Hoffman, Troy (Meghan) Warnecke, Lauren (Logan) Klima, Kelsey (Brad) Eickholt, Makayla (Keith) Kleman, Paige (Kyle) Looser, Nichole (Robert) Moye, Derek (Kate) Ricker, Tim Hunt, Tessa (John) Schlosser, Garrett (Megan Burgei) Schulte, Logan Schulte, and Carson Hunter; fourteen great-grandchildren and one on the way; a brother: James (Julie) Landin of Ottoville; and a sister-in-law: Martha Landin of Ottoville.
 She is also preceded in death by a brother: Dennis Landin.
 Diane drove school bus for Ottoville Local Schools for over 30 years. She had also worked part time for Walmart, Ottawa and Sanderson’s Meat, Grover Hill, she wanted to keep her son and grandson in line. Diane was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, Ottoville. She had always helped on the family farm. Diane enjoyed watching Hallmark movies and she loved her pets. She also loved baking pies and cinnamon rolls.
 Funeral Mass will begin at 10:30 a.m. on Monday, January 27, 2025, at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, Ottoville with Very Reverend George Mahas officiating. Burial will follow in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Ottoville. A visitation will be held from 2 to 7 p.m. on Sunday with a scripture service beginning at 1:45 p.m. and again on Monday one hour prior to the Mass at LOVE-HEITMEYER FUNERAL HOME, Jackson Township
