DENNY MICHELSEN
 LEIPSIC  We celebrate the life of Dennis “Denny” Michelsen who passed away peacefully on August 23, 2025, a few weeks shy of his 85th birthday, at The Meadows of Leipsic.
 Denny is survived by his loving wife of 42 years: Norma; children: Barbara (Dennis) Zimmerman, Suzanne (Gene) Powell and Mark (Carol) Shrider; stepchildren: Steve (Karen) McCullough, Amy (Chris) Pfahler, Barry (Lori) McCullough, and Tina (John) Gibson; 14 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren, and two brothers: Tom and Doug.
 He is preceded in death by his parents, Laurabelle and Bill Michelsen; brother, Mike; grandson, Nate; and great-grandson, Isaac.
 Denny worked 30 years at Atlas Crankshaft (known as Muggie), 10 years driving bus for Miller City Schools, and 15 years at Executive Coach.  He was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Leipsic Eagles, and Indian Lake Moose.
 Denny loved joking around with family and friends, camping at Indian Lake, watching Norma win at the casino, Ohio State football, Guardians baseball, watching his grandchildren play sports, but most of all, he loved his wife, Norma.
 Funeral Mass will begin at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, August 26, 2025, at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Leipsic with Fr. Randy Geisige officiating.  Burial will follow in the church cemetery.  A visitation will be held on Monday from 3 to 7 p.m. with a rosary service beginning at 7 p.m. at LOVE-HEITMEYER FUNERAL HOME, Leipsic, and again on Tuesday from 9 to 10 a.m. at the church.
 In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Putnam County Council on Aging or St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Leipsic.
