Titans run past Bulldogs

OTTAWA — Ken Schriner liked how his football team responded after falling behind Elida early in their Western Buckeye League contest Friday. After giving up that first quarter touchdown the Titan defense shut down the Bulldog offense the rest of the evening.And when the O-G offense put up two scores in the second quarter that helped lead them to a 28-7 win at Titan Stadium.

Lady Titans defeat Bath tennis

OTTAWA — Ottawa-Glandorf’s girls tennis team swept the singles matches Monday on their way to a 4-1 win over Lima Bath. All three singles matches were decided in two sets as junior Maggie Schmiedebusch picked up a win at first singles as she defeated Tea Sibert 6-1, 6-0.

Big Green, Pirates play to draw

CONTINENTAL — Continental and Ottoville played to a 0-0 draw in Putnam County League boys soccer action. The Big Green outshot the Pirates 5-2 in the contest as Continental (2-0-1, 4-3-2) goalie Jayden Pitney had four saves and Ottoville goalie Carson Hilvers had two goals.
