Wage Increases Take Effect Jan. 1, 2025
COLUMBUS, Ohio – Ohio’s minimum wage is scheduled to increase January 1, 2025, to $10.70 per hour for non-tipped employees and $5.35 per hour for tipped employees. The minimum wage will apply to employees of businesses with annual gross receipts of more than $394,000 per year.
Two local tax levy renewals on upcoming ballot
PUTNAM COUNTY — On the upcoming November 5th ballot, Putnam County has two tax levies up for renewal. The first is a levy for the county’s Mental Health, Alcohol & Drug Addiction Treatment and Prevention Services, and the second levy is for the operational costs of Putnam’s countywide 9-1-1 communications system.
