Wage Increases Take Effect Jan. 1, 2025
COLUMBUS, Ohio – Ohio’s minimum wage is scheduled to increase January 1, 2025, to $10.70 per hour for non-tipped employees and $5.35 per hour for tipped employees. The minimum wage will apply to employees of businesses with annual gross receipts of more than $394,000 per year.
Two local tax levy renewals on upcoming ballot
PUTNAM COUNTY — On the upcoming November 5th ballot, Putnam County has two tax levies up for renewal. The first is a levy for the county’s Mental Health, Alcohol & Drug Addiction Treatment and Prevention Services, and the second levy is for the operational costs of Putnam’s countywide 9-1-1 communications system.

Correction: PC EMS Open House Event
In the last issue the wrong date was listed for the EMS open house event. The Putnam County EMS open house will take place from 12 pm to 6 pm on Sunday October 27 instead of Friday October 25! It will take place at the Putnam County Office of Public Safety located at 117 Dr.
