Residential Medication Recycle Day successful

On Saturday, April 19, 2025, Putnam County hosted a Residential Medication/Recycling Event at the Putnam County Educational Service Center parking lot. 365 cars (which is a record) took advantage of the event from all over Putnam County and the contributions of event sponsors, volunteers, contributors and other agencies made that possible by allowing participants the chance to recycle items that aren’t usual items at normal drop offs. The village appreciates everyone that volunteered their time that day as well as the businesses that took in products, supplied workers and made donations to help make everything possible.
