FINDLAY — The American Red Cross of North Central Ohio will recognize and pay tribute to members of the community who have shown extraordinary courage by saving or improving the lives of others at the 2025 Hero Awards of North Central Ohio. The organization will also present the Clara Ayres Award for Extraordinary Service to a member or members of the medical profession who helped in a time of crisis.

KALIDA - Brookhill individuals recently took a tour of Putnam County Historical Society. They enjoyed walking through the museum and having the curator and board member explain the various rooms. The new railroad room was one of the favorites as they watched the train wind through the various tracks.
COLUMBUS gROVE — The 1948 church organ was in dire need of repair. The pedals were not working, the broken board that is vital to the organ, needed repaired or replaced. The swell pedal, which is the sound, was not working. Some of the keys were not shutting off like they are supposed to and carrying the sound over to the next notes being played.
OTTAWA — The Putnam County Council on Aging is thrilled to share a full calendar of engaging, educational, and entertaining events planned for August 2025. All residents age 60 and better are invited to take part in the fun, connect with others, and make the most of the summer season.
