GLANDORF Alice J. Siefker, 87, of Glandorf, passed away at 12:20 p.m., Thursday, January 9, 2025, at Lima Memorial Hospital, Lima. She was born August 17, 1937, in Ottoville to the late Arnold and Mildred (Obringer) Lauer. On September 12, 1959, she married Donald C. Siefker, who preceded her in death on July 5, 2015.
 She is survived by six children: Kim (Karl) Baumgartner of Swanton, Dean Siefker of Ottawa, Beth Petersen of Smiths Grove, KY, Dale (Monica) Siefker of Bloomington, IN, Mike (Sonia) Siefker of Glandorf and Jeff (Jane) Siefker of Dublin; 31 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; two sisters: Irene (Dave) Flynn of Virginia and Nancy Warnimont of Continental; special niece, Mary Ann (Andy) Slivka of Columbus; and a special caregiver, Kim Baumgartner.
 She was also preceded in death by a son, Mark Siefker; daughter-in-law, Beverly Siefker; and six siblings: Ruth Giesige, Bill Lauer, Jim Lauer, Lois Flynn, Dick Lauer and Martha Ellerbrock.
 Alice was a homemaker and babysat in her home for many years. She was a member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, Glandorf. Alice loved praying, making rosaries, baking, and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. She had a special bond with her sister, Nancy. Alice was loved by many and will be dearly missed.
 Funeral Mass will begin at 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday, January 14, 2025, at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, Glandorf with Fr. Matt Keller officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Visitation will be held from 3 to 8 p.m. on Monday and 9 to 10 a.m. on Tuesday at LOVE FUNERAL HOME, Ottawa.
