LEIPSIC – Stephen A. Kuhlman, 79 of Leipsic, passed away at 11:11 p.m. on Friday, December 20, 2024, at Vancrest of Van Wert. He was born January 30, 1945, in Leipsic to the late Wilfred and Anna Mae (Doepker) Kuhlman.
Stephen is survived by a daughter: Julie (Brian) Bullock of Summit Point, WV.; siblings: Ronald (Marie) Kuhlman of Kalida formerly of Ottawa, Adrian (Patricia) Kuhlman of Defiance, Joanne (Larry Marker) Schmitz of Glandorf, and Joyce (Jon) Smith of Conroe, TX.
He is preceded in death by a brother, LaVern Kuhlman, and a brother-in-law, Kenneth Schmitz.
Stephen retired from Philips Sylvania, Ottawa. He was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Leipsic. Stephen was also a member of the K of C, Ottawa. He had served in the Army National Guard and was an avid Leipsic Vikings fan.
Funeral Mass will begin at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, December 27, 2024, at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Leipsic with Fr. Randy Giesige officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. A visitation will be held on Thursday from 2 to 8 p.m. at LOVE-HEITMEYER FUNERAL HOME, Leipsic and again on Friday from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. at St. Mary’s Catholic Church Parish Life Center.
