SHARON K. ALLEN

 Sharon K. Allen (Katie), age 84, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, October 21, 2025, at The Meadows of Leipsic.
 She was born February 10, 1941, in Lima, Ohio, to the late William and Anna Rose (Dimp) Kindred. She was a graduate of St. Rose High School. Sharon married Gary Allen on April 2, 1982, and he preceded her in death on March 14, 2024.
 Sharon was a lifelong creator and artist, winning awards for her exceptional talents, including drawing and painting. She was known for her vibrant spirit and flair for decorating.
 Sharon and Gary’s home in Leesburg, Florida, was often the heart of gatherings, where they embraced the community and formed lifelong friendships. They loved to travel, visiting New Zealand, Australia, Alaska, as well as many memorable camping trips with their beloved friends.
 Sharon is survived by her children: Kim (Greg) Mauk of Lima, Pam Higgins of Ottawa, Mark (Mel) Bowersock of Madison, TN, Missy Bowersock of Little Elm, TX, and Michael (Trish) Bowersock of Gardner, KS. Stepchildren: Susan (Dale) Matthew of Kalida, Todd (Lori) Allen of Continental, John (Gina) Allen of Bozeman, MT. Sisters: Shirley Hullinger of Lima, Debbie Kindred of Lima. 21 grandchildren, 37 great-grandchildren, 1 great-great-grandchild.
 Sharon is preceded in death by brother-in-law Donald Hullinger, stepdaughter Lynn Christian, and son-in-law Jim Christian.
 A celebration of Sharon’s life will be held on November 8, 2025, at 3:00 pm at Truro Cemetery in Columbus Grove, OH. Sharon has requested a private family ceremony.
