Janice M. Schroeder

 LEIPSIC Janice M. Schroeder, 71, of Leipsic, passed away on Monday, September 22, 2025, at OhioHealth Riverside Methodist Hospital, Columbus. She was born April 4, 1954, in Lima to the late Albert and Sylvia (Kleman) Schroeder.
 She is survived by eight siblings: Karl (Alice) Schroeder of Chandler, AZ, Charlene Franz of Carey, Mary Ann (Richard) Berg of Deshler, Ken Schroeder of Dayton, Dale (Teresa) Schroeder of Defiance, Marilyn (John) Siefker of Ottawa, Jane (David) Berg of Lima and Randy (Teresa) Schroeder of Tiffin.
 Janice retired from Whirlpool, Findlay in 2024. She had also worked for Sauder’s, Metal Forge and was an insurance agent. She was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Leipsic, Findlay Moose Lodge, Leipsic Eagles, Leipsic VFW, Ottawa Eagles and Ottawa American Legion. Janice was an avid fan of The Ohio State Buckeyes. She enjoyed the news, gardening, flowers and gambling. Janice was very socially active and loved spending time with her nieces and nephews.
 Funeral Mass will begin at 10:00 a.m., Monday, September 29, 2025, at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Leipsic with Fr. John Stites officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Visitation will be held from 2 to 7 p.m. on Sunday at LOVE-HEITMEYER FUNERAL HOME, Leipsic and 9 to 10 a.m. on Monday at St. Mary’s Parish Life Center. A scripture service will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Sunday at the funeral home.
