JAN KIDD

 Jan Kidd, 66, of Columbus Grove, passed away on August 7, 2025, surrounded by her loving family. Born on February 9, 1959, to the late Roland and Margaret (Killen) Halker. Jan lived a life devoted to caring for others. Her greatest joys were her husband, children, and son-in-lawand above all, her cherished grandchildren, Garrett, Grace, and Gia.
 She also treasured the many years spent boating and enjoying the water on the Auglaize River, creating lasting memories with family and friends. A true social butterfly, she brought warmth, energy, and connection to every room she entered. Jan dedicated over 45 years of service to St. Rita’s Medical Center, where she was known for her commitment, professionalism, and the relationships she built with coworkers throughout her career. She was a member of St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church and found joy in the simple things: spending time with her family, catching up with friends, and showering love on her many nieces and nephewsacross multiple generationswhom she adored tremendously.
 Jan is survived by her loving husband, Dave Kidd, her daughters, Lindsay Kidd, Columbus, OH and Hailey (Andy) Connell, Columbus Grove, OH; her cherished grandchildren, Garrett, Grace, and Gia; sisters, Mary Bonnell and Renee Bogart; step-sister, Sara (Lew) Tracey; sisters-in-law, Donna Kidd and Betty Kidd; and brothers-in-law, Bob (Nancy) Kidd, Jerry (Linda) Kidd and Dan Kidd; along with many extended family members and dear friends who will miss her deeply. She was also preceded in death by her stepmother, Mary Halker; in-laws Gerald and Mary Kidd and brother-in-law Jim Bonnell.
 A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 am Thursday, August 14, 2025, at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church, Columbus Grove, OH with Fr. David Ritchie officiating with visitation one hour prior at Hartman-Rousculp Community Funeral Home 10879 SR OH-12 Columbus Grove. Visitation is also on Wednesday, August 13, 2025, from 3-7pm at Hartman-Rousculp Community Funeral Home. Burial at St. Anthony Cemetery at a later date.
