Continental Fall Festival enjoys perfect weather and large crowds

CONTINENTAL — The Continental Fall Festival was well-attended last weekend with plenty to do. Friday featured a karaoke contest and Deep Cuts. Saturday’s car show set a record with 167 vehicles, beating last year’s record of 161. Plenty of candy was thrown in Saturday’s parade, there was a poker run, a 5k/10k Wyatt’s Walk, a sidewalk chalk art contest, a performance by the Continental High School band, line dancing lessons, touch-a-truck and Saw Crush performed live. Sunday wrapped things up with a community church service and a chicken barbecue. (Photos by KC Allen)
