Riedel announces $250,000 raised in first 3 months as candidate for Ohio’s 1st Senate District

DEFIANCE – Republican State Senate candidate Craig Riedel announced Tuesday his campaign raised more than $250,000 ahead of the June 30, 2025 semi-annual campaign finance deadline. Notably, this does not include any self-funding. Riedel became the first announced candidate for Ohio’s 1st Senate District in early April and since then has established himself as the early frontrunner to replace term-limited Senator Rob McColley (R-Napoleon).
