OTTAWA — The Kohls Market location was started in Ottawa in 1957 in the building that formerly housed Med-Law. It was on Main Street, immediately to the northwest of the railroad tracks.

The first heat taking off at the start of the race. The race began at Arrowhead Park with a 3/4 mile trail run. From there, participants biked 2 miles to the Reservoir, where they finished with 4 laps of kayaking around the Reservoir.
