Leipsic Methodist Church hosts special guest speaker

LEIPSIC — On the evening of September 11, members of Samaritan’s Purse’s Great Lakes Regional Area, and its members of the Great Lima Area Team, held a presentation at the Leipsic Methodist Church. They were joined by a Alex Nsengimana, a special guest speaker who grew up amidst an unstable Rwandan government during his nation’s genocide, and who spoke about a life-changing gift that he had received from the organization after the travesties he experienced.

Lady Titans defeat Bath tennis

OTTAWA — Ottawa-Glandorf’s girls tennis team swept the singles matches Monday on their way to a 4-1 win over Lima Bath. All three singles matches were decided in two sets as junior Maggie Schmiedebusch picked up a win at first singles as she defeated Tea Sibert 6-1, 6-0.

Titans run past Bulldogs

OTTAWA — Ken Schriner liked how his football team responded after falling behind Elida early in their Western Buckeye League contest Friday. After giving up that first quarter touchdown the Titan defense shut down the Bulldog offense the rest of the evening.And when the O-G offense put up two scores in the second quarter that helped lead them to a 28-7 win at Titan Stadium.
