FOSTORIA — Ottawa-Glandorf’s two doubles teams placed at the Fostoria Invitational Saturday. The second doubles team of Jericha Walls and Courtney won their position as they defeated a team from Maumee in the finals.
GLANDORF — Ottawa-Glandorf used solid goal keeping Saturday to defeat Fort Jennings 6-1 in non-league action. The Musketeers outshot the Titans 14-12 for the contest as O-G goalie James Niese came up with 12 saves in garnering the win.
WAPAKONETA — Ottawa-Glandorf trailed Wapakoneta 14-7 in the second quarter of their Western Buckeye League game Friday night. Then the roof caved in on the Titans.
LEIPSIC — Leipsic made its return to Blanchard Valley Conference football Friday night. After a slow start the Vikings scored three second quarter touchdowns on their way to a 35-7 win over Elmwood.
COLUMBUS GROVE — Columbus Grove was solid on both sides of the football Friday night. The Bulldogs offense scored the first 21 points of the game and their defense was excellent all game long as Columbus Grove rolled to a 27-13 non-league win over Patrick Henry.
ELIDA — Ottawa-Glandorf’s Makenna Siefker scored three times Monday to lead the Lady Titans to a 6-0 Western Buckeye League win over Elida in girls soccer. Siefker’s three goals gives her 94 for her career as she became the schools all-time career leader for goals.
SPENCERVILLE — Miller City’s Andrea Pfau continued her early success to the 2024 cross country season by winning the girls Red Division race at the Spencerville Invitational Saturday morning. Pfau, a senior, won the girls Red Division (small school) race running a 19:37.1 for her second individual win of the season.
TIFFIN — Ottawa-Glandorf standout runners Anna Buddelmeyer and Ty Rosengarten were among the top individual runners in their divisions at the Tiffin Cross Country Carnival Saturday. While the two Titan runners were among the best in their divisions, the Lady Titans and Columbus Grove boys were among the top teams in their respective races.
OTTAWA — Miller City’s girls golf team defeated Kalida Monday in a dual match 206212 at the Moose Landing Country Club. Anna Keeler led Miller City with a 47 for medalist honors.
