OTTAWA – All ages attended Saturday’s KidFest at Ottawa Memorial Park on Saturday. There were thirty-three different booths set up by area businesses, churches and service groups.
OTTAWA — Ottawa-Glandorf boys soccer team opens its season Friday as they host rival Kalida at the Titan Soccer Stadium on O-G Road. The junior varsity match starts at 5 p.m.
PUTNAM COUNTY — More and more high school fall athletes will be looking to start their seasons in the next week. This Friday and Saturday will see county boys and girls soccer teams begin their 2024 campaigns, while on Saturday county volleyball teams will start their new seasons.
OTTAWA — Kalida’s golf team led local teams playing in the Ken Schnipke Invitational Wednesday at the Moose Landing Country Club. The Wildcats finished fourth among the 26 teams playing in the invitational with a score of 323.
NORTH BALTIMORE — Miller City’s girls golf team won a three team golf match Monday at the Birch Run Golf Course in North Baltimore. The Wildcats posted the low score shooting a 211 as Elmwood was second with a 226 and Tinora was third with a 230.
OTTAWA — Kalida started Putnam County League play Tuesday morning with a 159-185 win over Columbus Grove at the Moose Landing Country Club in a dual match. Connor Nartker paced the Wildcats (10, 1-0) with a 37 for medalist honors.
