Kalida golfers defeat Eagles
ARLINGTON — Kalida’s boys golf team defeated Liberty-Benton at Sycamore Springs Monday 160-163. Connor Nartker paced the Wildcats (5-0) with a 36 for medalist honors.
Bulldogs defeat Rockets
COLUMBUS GROVE — Columbus Grove scored on their first possession Thursday night to start the 2024 season. That score was just the start of the Bulldogs erasing a year long memory of losing to Route 12 rival Pandora-Gilboa in the final seconds last season.
Lady Titan tennis sweeps Kenton
KENTON — Ottawa-Glandorf’s Myah Bockrath claimed a three set win at third singles Thursday to defeat Kenton 5-0 in a Western Buckeye League match. Bockrath dropped the first set to the Wildcats’ Presley Wilson 4-6 before rallying to win the next two sets 6-4, 6-0 for the win.

OTTAWA — Liberty-Benton scored three plays into their game with Ottawa-Glandorf Friday night. While the Titans tried to answer the Eagles early score they were unable to.
Ottoville volleyball sweeps Red Devils
OTTOVILLE — Ottoville won a close first set Monday on their way to a 27-25, 25-12, 25-17 nonleague win over Arlington. Erica Thorbahn served up two aces for the Big Green (7-1) while handing out 41 assists and Jocelyn Langhals had two aces.
Wildcats, Bulldogs play to 1-1 draw
ELIDA — The Kalida and Elida boys soccer teams played to a 1-1 draw Monday in non-league action. Landon Verhoff scored the Wildcats (2-1-2) lone goal as Owen Grime assisted.
