LEIPSIC — Leipsic rode the pitching of Summer Steingass and a 19 hit attack to a 21-0 Blanchard Valley Conference win over Vanlue.

Steingass recorded the win as she pitched a shutout giving up just two hits with five strikeouts and she had two walks.

Twelve different players had a hit in the game for Leipsic as Kacey Dulle had a single and triple and Jala Hazelton had two doubles with two RBIs. Heather Lammers, McKenna nunez, Aliyah Pardo and Kelly Scheckelhoff both had a double. Bailee Sickmiller had two singles and drove in three runs and Lammers had three RBIs. Courtney Amrine had two singles and two RBIs.

Leipsic had a 6-0 lead going to the third inning before they scored 10 times to break the game open.

Ashley Schaller took the loss for Vanlue as she never retired a batter in the game giving up six runs. Savannah Traught finished the game.

Kaytlin Hough and Chloe Stagnolia both had a single for the Wildcats.

OTTOVILLE — Elida pitcher Kori Baker only allowed one hit as the Bulldogs defeated Ottoville 12-0 in non-league action.

Baker recorded the win as she gave up the one hit while striking out nine and walking one.

Paige Hoersten had the lone hit for the Big Green.

Elida took the lead with five runs in the first inning.

Alli Honigford took the loss for Ottoville.
