LEIPSIC — Leipsic used a big second quarter Thursday night on their way to a 62-32 Blanchard Valley Conference win McComb.

The Vikings had a 10-7 lead after the opening quarter before going on a 23-10 in the second quarter for a 33-17 halftime lead. Leipsic (1-1, 2-1) went on to outscore the Panthers in every quarter.

Heather Lammers drained four three-pointers in the game to finish with 20 points for Leipsic and Claire Rigel added 14 points and grabbed seven rebounds. Peyton Henry had seven points and six rebounds for the Vikings.

Malorie Schroeder led the Panthers with 14 points and Hannah Schroeder had six points and six rebounds.

Ottawa-Glandorf 63

Elida 32

ELIDA — Ottawa-Glandorf started defense of its Western Buckeye League title Thursday night with a 63-32 win over Elida.

Ashley Schroeder led the Titans with 14 points and Kadie Hempfling added 11 points.

Kalida 37

Antwerp 28

ANTWERP — Kalida outscored Antwerp over the first three quarters Thursday evening on their way to a 37-28 non-league win over Antwerp.

The Ladycats had a 9-4 lead after the opening quarter and were up 19-12 at the half. Kalida (2-3) added to their lead with an 8-5 third quarter scoring advantage.

Taylor Lucke led Kalida with seven points, while Sarah Klausing and Kiersten Siebeneck both had six points. Lauren Langhals grabbed six rebounds for Kalida.

Hather Oberlin had 10 points for the Archers.

Kalida won the junior varsity game 34-12.

North Baltimore 53

Pandora-Gilboa 36

NORTH BALTIMORE — North Baltimore outscored Pandora-Gilboa in the fourth quarter Thursday evening to claim a 53-36 Blanchard Valley Conference win.

The Tigers had a 12-7 lead after the opening quarter and were up 33-27 after three quarters. The Tigers ended the game with a 20-9 fourth quarter scoring run.

Alivia Light led North Baltimore with a game high 23 points and Katelyn Weinandy added 15 points.

Kayla Ferguson had 17 points to lead the Rockets (0-2, 0-3) and Paige Fenstermaker added 10 points. Makayla Kinsinger pulled down seven rebounds for P-G.

North Baltimore won the two quarter JV game 18-10.

Crestview 48

Columbus Grove 40

CONVOY — Crestview outscored Columbus Grove in the fourth quarter Thursday evening to rally for a 48-40 Northwest Conference win.

Grove outscored the Knights 17-15 in the third quarter for a 35-34 lead before the Knights finished the game with a 14-5 run for the win. Crestview had a 19-18 halftime lead with a 7-6 second quarter scoring advantage.

Paige Motycka led the Knights (1-0, 2-2) with a game high 22 points and Ally McCoy added 12 points.

Abby Gladwell led the Bulldogs (0-1, 1-3) with 12 points and Lauren Schroeder added 10 points. Sydney Witteborg grabbed six rebounds for the Bulldogs and Carlee McCluer had eight points and five rebounds.

Crestview won the junior varsity game 33-30.
