HOLGATE — Continental's boys basketball team continues to pick up momentum as they near the post-season.
The Pirates picked up their fourth straight win Thursday night as they travelled to Holgate and claimed a 50-34 non-league win.
The Pirates (9-12) had a 10-5 lead after the opening quarter and were up 22-19 at halftime. A 14-4 run in the third quarter helped Continental regain the momentum.
Gabe Williams had 17 points and six rebounds for the Pirates. Austin Mansfield and Wade Stauffer both had 10 points.
Holgate won the junior varsity game 40-11.
