OTTOVILLE — Ottoville overcame a first set loss Monday evening to defeat New Knoxville 20-25, 25-16, 25-19, 31-29 in non-league action.

The Big Green are now 8-0 on the season.

CJ Kemper had a solid night for the Big Green with 17 kills and seven blocks and Bridget Landin had 17 kills and 13 digs. Brynlee Hanneman had five kills and seven blocks, while Abi Hilvers had 49 assists and 11 digs and Emily Landin had 27 digs.

New Knoxville won the junior varsity contest 28-30, 25-19, 25-21.

LEIPSIC — Liberty-Benton overcame a 2-1 deficit Monday evening to outlast Leipsic 21-25, 28-26, 18-25, 25-22, 15-11 in Blanchard Valley Conference action.

The Vikings slipped to 2-1 in the BVC and 7-1 overall.

Hayley Heitmeyer had a big night for the Vikings with 25 kills on 58-of-66 hitting wih 13 blocks and Kierra Meyer had 14 kills on 45-of-48 hitting with 31 digs and she was 15-of-15 serving. Carlee Siefker had seven kills on 27-of-32 hitting and served up four aces as she was 32-of-33 serving with 20 digs. Emily Butler had eight kills and nine blocks for the Vikings.

Selena Loredo had 29 assists on 79-of-80 setting and Lyndie Hazelton had 25 assists on 75-of-76 setting. Kacey Dulle had 36 digs in the contest.

PANDORA — Hopewell-Loudon defeated Pandora-Gilboa in Blanchard Valley Conference action Monday 25-20, 25-20, 25-13.

Paige Fenstermaker led the Rockets with 11 kills and 10 digs and Taylor Schwab had three blocks. Addilyn Diller had 14 assists and Kayla Ferguson had nine digs.
