SHAWNEE — Ottoville's volleyball team continued their early season success Saturday with a 25-17, 25-17, 25-18 non-league win over Shawnee.

Bridget Landin served up four aces for the Big Green (8-0) along with 11 kills and six blocks, while CJ Kemper had four aces, nine kills and 12 digs. Brynlee Hanneman had eight kills and three blocks and Abi Hilvers had 31 assists.

Ottoville won the junior varsity contest in three sets 25-20, 23-25 and 25-9.

Wauseon 1

WAUSEON - Ottawa-Glandorf went to Wauseon Saturday afternoon and swept a triangular match.

The Titans opened with a 25-7, 25-22 win over Napoleon, then defeated Wauseon 25-17, 25-27, 25-7. O-G is now 8-1 on the season.

In the win over the Wildcats, Kendra Kahle served up seven aces and had 16 assists, while Erica Annesser had 10 kills and Carly Alt had six blocks. Brooke Kleman had 27 digs in the contest.

O-G won the junior varsity contest.

In the win over Wauseon, Taylor Alt had four aces and 13 kills, while Carly Alt had 14 kills and Kendra Kahle had three aces and 35 assists. Brooke Kleman had 29 digs in the contest.

O-G won the junior varsity contest 25-20, 25-9.

Pioneer Invitational

KALIDA - Kalida's volleyball team went 1-2 at the Pioneer Invitational Saturday.

The WIldcats opened with a 25-14, 25-16 win over Fairview before falling to Delphos St. John's 25-15, 25-18. In the third place game, the Wildcats fell to Parkway 25-22, 25-15.

Liberty-Benton won the invitational as they defeated Delphos St. John's 21-25, 28-26, 25-19.
