TROY — Ottoville's girls track team qualified two more events to the Division III state track and field meet Friday evening at Troy.
The Lady Green saw Taylor Mangas and their 1600 relay team advance to the state meet next Friday at the Jesse Owens Memorial Stadium.
Mangas qualified in the 300 hurdles as she finished fourth in 46.37 at the Troy Division III regional Friday. Mangas also was part of the Big Green's 1600 relay team that advanced with a third place finish in 4:07.33. Running this with Taylor Mangas were Karin Wendeberg, Madison Knodell and Brooke Mangas.
Alicia Honigford just missed advancing in the 100 hurdles as she finished fifth in the finals. New Knoxville's Haley Horstman grabbed the final qualifying spot with a fourth place finish.
Ottoville's 4x100 relay team of Honigford, Brooke Mangas, Wendeberg and Taylor Mangas were seventh in 51.81 and Alexis Thorbahn was 10th in the discus throw. Honigford also finished 11th in the girls long jump Friday.
The Big Green's Brooke Mangas qualified for state Thursday in the high jump clearring 5-4.
