MILLER CITY - Miller City grabbed a quick lead Friday evening on their way to a 58-40 non-league win over Fort Jennings.

The Wildcats grabbed an 18-6 lead after the opening quarter and were up 30-21 at the break after Ft. Jennings outscored them 15-12 in the second quarter. Miller City didn't let the Musketeers get any closer as they outscored them 28-19 in the second half.
Cory Heuerman led the Wildcats with 18 points and Adam Niese had 13 points. Adam Drummelsmith pulled down 10 rebounds for Miller City.
Connor Wallenhorst led the Musketeers with 14 points.
Fort Jennings won the junior varsity contest 47-39.

In other action Friday evening, Ayersville stopped Leipsic 75-53 and Tinora beat Ottoville 59-50. Columbus Grove suffered their first loss of the season as they fell to Lima Central Catholic 63-47 and McComb topped Pandora-Gilboa 46-32. In another non-league game, Delphos St. John's beat Continental in a low scoring contest 34-31.
