OTTAWA — North Baltimore had the lead through the first three quarters of their Division IV sectional semi-final with Miller City Tuesday night.
Miller City saved their best for last as the Wildcats outscored the Tigers in the final quarter to rally for a 44-43 win. The Wildcats advance to the sectional finals Saturday night to face Leipsic at 6:15 p.m.
North Baltimore had a 30-25 lead after three quarters before the Wildcats erupted for a 19-13 scoring edge in the final quarter and the win.
Cassie Niese led the Wildcats (3-19) with 12 points and Liz Klear finished with eight. Megan Warnimont had eight rebounds for the Wildcats and Haley Lammers pulled down seven rebounds.
Kiah Powell had a double-double for the Tigers with 14 points and 13 rebounds. Rachel Peters had 13 points for North Baltimore.
