MILLER CITY — Miller City wrapped up an undisputed Putnam County League title Tuesday night at Ottoville in 12 innings. Wednesday afternoon they went for an undefeated PCL record in 2014.
The Wildcats accomplished that mission with a 9-3 win over Continental.
Miller City finished league play at 7-0 and they are 13-4 overall. Continental is 0-5 in the league and 3-12 overall.
The Pirates took a 1-0 lead in the second inning before the Wildcats scored three times in the bottom of the third inning. A five run sixth inning sealed the win for Miller City.
Ross Lehman (6-1) picked up the win for the Wildcats. Lehman also had a double in the game.
Terry Dockery III took the loss for the Pirates. Gabe Williams had two singles for the Pirates.

PANDORA — Pandora-Gilboa scored eight times in the fifth inning to defeat Vanlue 17-7 in a five inning Blanchard Valley Conference game.
The Rockets had a 9-7 lead going to the bottom of the fifth when they exploded for eight runs to end the game.
Brian Schneck (4-3) picked up the win as he went the distance allowing seven runs on 10 hits with five strikeouts.
Reed Hovest had a single, double and home run for the Rockets (4-4, 9-10) with three RBIs, while Jacob Basinger had a single and home run with three RBIs. Alex Osborn had a single and double with three RBIs and Dustin Rieman had three singles and three RBIs. Brian Schneck had two singles for P-G and TJ Koepplinger had a double.
