  • KALIDA — Continental and Kalida played to a scoreless tie in Putnam County League boys soccer action Friday evening. 
  • SHAWNEE TWP. — Ottawa-Glandorf's Zac Unterbrink and Zach Kuhlman had a special connection Friday night. 
  • COLUMBUS GROVE — It was the Ethan O’Connor show at Clymer Stadium Friday night. 
  • RAWSON — Jacob Basinger ran for three touchdowns and passed for three more as Pandora-Gilboa downed Cory-Rawson 41-15 in Blanchard Valley Conference action Friday night. 
  • KENTON — Kalida girls soccer coach David Kehres reached a milestone Thursday evening. 
  • LIMA — Columbus Grove's golf team finished seventh at the Northwest Conference golf tournament Thursday at Colonial Hills. 
  • OTTAWA — Ottawa-Glandorf remained undefeated in Western Buckeye League volleyball action Thursday with a quick 25-6, 25-12, 25-15 win over Defiance. 
  • PANDORA — Pandora-Gilboa picked up a Blanchard Valley Conference win Wednesday evening as they defeated Vanlue 25-12, 25-20, 25-14.

    Alexa Maag had nine blocks and nine kills to lead the Rockets, while Britany Hovest had four blocks and five kills, Mikaylie Morman had six kills and Makayla Diller had two blocks and three assists.

    Kayla Rieman served up three aces, had 27 assists and 13 digs, Serena Maag had three aces and Mackenzie Swary was 12-of-12 serving. Shana Hovest had 11 digs and Kaitlyn Conine had 10 digs.

    P-G won the junior varsity contest 25-6, 25-10.

    LEIPSIC — Leipsic got back in the win column Wednesday evening as they defeated Cory-Rawson 25-17, 25-9, 25-12 in Blanchard Valley Conference action.

    Emily Ellerbrock served up eight aces for the Vikings as she was 18-of-20 serving and had 24 assists as she was 59-of-59 setting. Brenna Schroeder had two aces as she was 15-of-15 serving.

    Kelly Nadler was 29-of-31 hitting with 15 kills, while Brooke Heitmeyer had five kills and Brooke Gerdeman four kills, Shalynn Morman had 11 digs for the Vikings.

     
  • OTTOVILLE — Columbus Grove picked up a tough Putnam County League victory Monday with a 25-13, 25-12, 23-25, 25-17 win over Ottoville. 
  • Ottawa-Glandorf and Columbus Grove were ranked as the first Associated Press football poll was released Monday. 
  • Defense, passing game lead Titans to win
    OTTAWA — Ottawa-Glandorf junior quarterback Zac Unterbrink only completed 13 passes Friday night against Celina. 
  • ADA — Columbus Grove scored on two big runs in the fourth quarter Friday night to defeat Ada 34-17 in a Northwest Conference showdown. 
  • MILLER CITY — Fort Jennings built a three goal lead Friday evening, then had to hold on to defeat Miller City 3-2 in a Putnam County League contest.
