The regional final round of the OHSAA football playoffs were he'd Friday night.
In Division IV, Kenton remained undefeated as the Wildcats rallied to defeat Bryan 46-43. The Wildcats scored the winning touchdown with 21 seconds left to play. A Grant Sherman pass to Justin Sawmiller gave Kenton the lead for good.
Bryan (12-1) had the ball at midfield after the score and were unable to connect to steal the win.
Bryan had taken a 43-40 lead with 1:21 left to play.
In Lima, Wayne Trace punched their ticket to the final four with a 68-14 win over Ada in Division VI. Raider quarterback Colby Spiece tied a state record with nine touchdown passes in the game. He had over 500 yards through the air against the Bulldog defense. The nine touchdown passes came in three quarters and he also ran for a score in the win.
