The Yellow Jackets also received six out of 10 first place votes.

DC had five athletes named to the Athletes to Watch list.  They are led by two seniors Kim Bingley (Ottawa, Ohio / Ottawa-Glandorf) and Kali George (East Palestine, Ohio / East Palestine).  The two seniors star in multiple events each.

Junior Brooke Lime (Defiance, Ohio / Defiance) was also named to the list.  Lime is a hurdler and sprinter for the Yellow Jackets.

After a strong showing in the indoor season, two freshman also got recognized and selected to the Athletes to Watch list.  Micah Wilson (Mims, Fla. / Astronaut) and Sam Cook (Raiford, Fla. / Bradford County) will compete in sprints and throws, respectively.  Both athletes broke school records during the indoor season.
