CONTINENTAL — Continental regrouped in the fifth game Tuesday evening to defeat Kalida 25-21, 25-19, 13-25, 22-25, 15-7 in Putnam County League volleyball action.

Amber Logan paced the Pirates (1-1, 5-4) with 19 kills, four aces and seven digs, Leah Baker had 10 kills and Hannah Troyer had three aces and 21 digs. Jessica Stauffer finished with 38 assists and 15 digs.

Sarah Klausing had 14 kills, two blocks, 12 assists and 20 digs for the Wildcats and Tori Niese added 12 kills, two blocks and two aces. Tara Gerding had 20 assists for Kalida with eight digs, while Grace Klausing had 28 digs and Morgan Mock had 24 digs.

Continental won the junior varsity match in two games.

MILLER CITY - Miller City made quick work of Temple Christian Tuesday evening with a 25-12, 25-11, 25-12 in non-league action.

Meggan Meyer served up six aces for the Wildcats (5-4) along with five kills and three blocks, while Brittany Kuhlman had three aces, three kills, 14 assists and 18 digs. Cayla Troyer had two aces and seven assists, Adrienne Kuhlman had two kills and eight digs, Kylie Berner had eight kills and Sofie VanWezel had five kills,

Alaina Niese had four kills, Abbey Schroeder 22 digs, Mandy Schroeder had 17 digs and Elena Niese had 10 digs.

OTTAWA - Toledo St. Ursula won a pair of close games Tuesday evening to defeat Ottawa-Glandorf 26-24, 25-15, 25-23 in non-league action.

Carly Alt had three aces, eight kills and 11 digs for the Titans (8-2), while Kendra Kahle had three aces and 26 assists. Sydney Heitmeyer served up three aces, Christina Tippie had five blocks and Taylor Alt had seven kills.

Ottawa-Glandorf won the junior varsity match 23-25, 27-25 and 25-19. St. Ursula won the freshman contest.

Upper Scioto Valley 0

MCGUFFEY - Undefeated Ottoville made quick work of Upper Scioto Valley Tuesday evening with a 25-9, 25-11, 25-3 non-legue win.

Abi Hilvers served up five aces for the Big Green (10-0) with 28 assists and Bridget Landin had three aces and seven kills. CJ Kemper added eight kills and 10 digs, Emily Landin had three aces and 12 digs, while Quinley Schlagbaum had six kills and two blocks and Brynlee Hanneman had six kills and four blocks.

Ottoville won the junior varsity contest 25-10, 25-10.

Crestview 3

Columbus Grove 0

CONVOY — Crestview defeted Columbus Grove in the Northwest Conference opener for both teams Tuesday 25-16, 25-21, 25-16.

Paige Bellman had seven kills for the Bulldogs along with two solo blocks and a block assist. Rylee Sybert had six kills and 13 digs, while Carlee McCluer had 13 digs, four kills and an ace.

Columbus Grove won the junior varsity match 25-10, 21-25, 25-16.
