OTTAWA - Kevin F. Kindle, 49, of Hamilton, IN, died at 5:21 a.m. Sunday, Aug. 10, 2104 at his residence. He was born Oct. 14, 1964 in Lima to Richard and Eileen (Schroeder) Kindle. His father is deceased, his mother survives in Ottawa. On May 26, 2000 he married Lisa Kurtz who survives in Hamilton, IN.
Also surviving is a son: Kalen Kindle of Yelm, WA; a daughter: Ashley Williams of Anna; 4 brothers: Keith (Olga) Kindle of Continental, Kenneth (Pamela) Kindle of Ashland City, TN, Karl (Victoria) Kindle of Red Boiling Springs, TN, Kyle (Dena) Kindle of Ottawa; 2 sisters: Kathleen (Henry) Weiss of Laurel, MD and Karen (Steve) Fry of Murfreesboro, TN; 5 grandchildren: Anthony, Sky, Shaylynn, Landon, and Kingston; and several nieces and nephews. He was also preceded in death by an infant sister and brother: Eileen Kindle and Richard Kindle.
Kevin was employed at Therma-Tru of Butler, IN. and had worked at W.C. Woods for 18 years. He served in the U.S. Army and was in Desert Storm. He and his wife moved to Indiana when Woods closed in 2010. He was Papa to his grandchildren whom he loved with all his being. They were his pride and joy. He and his wife had many animals over the years: Happy, Hercules, Biscuit, and Doby which were their constant companions. His love of animals was incredible. Kevin will be missed by all who knew him.
Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Friday, Aug. 15, 2014 at Trinity United Methodist Church, Ottawa. Visitation will be from 2 to 8 p.m. on Thursday at LOVE FUNERAL HOME, Ottawa and one hour prior to the service on Friday at the church. Military rites by the Ottawa American Legion, VFW and AMVETS will follow the service at church. Memorials may be made to his grandchildren's education fund.
