GLANDORF  — Senior citizens in the St. George Deanery had some “Fun in the Sun” Sunday night during the Senior Citizen Prom.

The annual event was held at the Glandorf St. John's parish hall. The Hawaiian theme meal included teriyaki chicken breast, potatoes, vegetables and assorted pies.

The annual event was hosted by high school youth in the St. George Deanery. In addition to the meal the evening included games, a performance by “Out of the Blue” Ottawa-Glandorf show choir, a skit, and crowning of the king and queen and awarding of door prizes.

Ruth Drerup from Glandorf St. John parish was crowned as the queen. Fr. Tony Fortman C.PP.S. was crowned as the king.
