OTTAWA - Mark your calendars for the 3rd annual Henry Fought Memorial Karate tournament hosted by Den of the Tiger Karate Dojo.  The tournament will be held at Noon on Sunday, Feb. 16, in the Ottawa-Glandorf High School gymnasium located at 630 Glendale Avenue in Ottawa, OH.  The tournament is open to all ages and all styles of martial arts are welcome to participate.

Registration at the door will begin at 10 a.m. and continue through Noon.  Pre-Registration is also available.  Visit our Facebook page, Den of the Tiger Karate Club, to contact us for pre-registration forms.  Tournament information can also be found at

Entry fee is $25 for all competitors at the door and Pre-Registration fees are $20 for each competitor.  Demonstrations will be performed for an additional $5 fee per break.  Competitors are responsible for bringing their own materials required for their demo.  Proper protective gear is mandatory for all competitors.  Spectator admission is $2 for adults and $1 for students.

All proceeds from registration and the concession stand at the tournament benefit the Henry Fought Memorial Scholarship fund.  This scholarship was started by Henry’s children after his passing in August of 2010 as a way to honor his memory and to help local area youth pursue their dreams in college and make them a reality.  All Putnam County graduating seniors are eligible to apply for the scholarship.
