OTTAWA -  It was the first rain-free day during the Putnam County Fair on Thursday.

Harness racing had to be delayed to Thursday because of wet race tracks.

Upcoming activities include the Tug-A-Truck on Friday at 7 p.m. in front of the grandstand. On Saturday, it will be Motor Mayhem with numerous derbies in front of the grandstand.

The small animal sale was held Thursday at the fair. On Friday will be the large animal sale.

Also on the schedule for Saturday is the W.A.R. wrestling near the main arches.
