OTTAWA — The summer season kicks off with Ottawa First Fridays starting June 6 in downtown Ottawa.

From 4 to 7 p.m. enjoy a bustling farmers market, live musical entertainment, food vendors and free family activities including the second Annual Touch-A-Truck event. Over a dozen pieces of heavy equipment, farm machinery and service vehicles will be on site for children to touch, sit on and learn about.

The Putnam County YMCA, Putnam County Library, Ottawa Kiwanis Club and Putnam County Master Gardeners will offer booths and activities.

First Fridays continue this season on August 1, September 5, and October 3 in the municipal parking lot at Oak and Main Streets in Ottawa.
