PUTNAM COUNTY — The flood warning continues for the Blanchard River at Ottawa until late Wednesday night. At 7 a.m. Monday, Feb. 24, the river crested at 25.52 feet. Flood stages is 23 feet. At 8:30 a.m. the river was at 23.51 feet.

The river is expected to fall below the 23 foot flood stage around 12 a.m. Wednesday, Feb. 26. Some streets on the west side of town are closed due to flooding.

The flood warning also continues for the Auglaize River near Fort Jennings until Tuesday evening. At 2 a.m. Monday the stage was 16.4 feet and falling. Flood stage is 13 feet.
