PUTNAM COUNTY — Putnam County residents woke up to another round of snow Sunday morning.
The National Weather Service has issued a winter weather advisory for the area until 7 a.m. Monday. The weather service says the area the could receive another 2 to 4 inches of snow today with winds to pick up this afternoon leading to blowing snow and drifting.
Putnam County is currently under a level 2 roadway advisory due to Saturday's snow and blowing snow.
Along with the winter weather advisory, a wind chill advisory is in effect  from Monday morning until Wednesday afternoon. Dangerous wind chills are expected to cover the region the next two days as Monday's high is five degrees and Tuesday's forecasted high is minus 5 with wind chills reaching 25 to 35 below Monday evening and Tuesday. The high for Wednesday is a balmy 13 degrees.
