Adam M. Sheaks, Ottawa, and Teresita Sheaks, Ottawa, were granted a dissolution of marriage. They were married Oct. 9, 2004 in Kalida, and have three children.

Trevor M. Harshman, Continental, was awarded judgment of $2.5 million against Jeffrey L. Perry, Bradford, Pennsylvania. During a hearing on May 29, Harshman testified he was sexually abused by Perry from the time he was six-years-old until age 14 several times a week for more than 100 times per year. According to court records, considering the outrageous and malicious conduct of the defendant in sexually abusing the plaintiff on more than 800 occasions, the court ruled in favor of plaintiff in the amount of $2.5 million. Plaintiff is entitled to an award of attorney fees in amount of $6,480, $3,613 in past medical expenses, $243,117.20 in future medical expenses and $250,000 in past and future pain and suffering.

Dana M. Cherry, 33, Pandora, was sentenced to 92 days jail for possession of drugs (heroin). She was placed on three years community control and her license was suspended for six months. She must undergo drug assessment and treatment and have no contact with co-defendant Natalie Golich.

Kelsey R. Bradley, 24, Ottawa, pleaded guilty to burglary and theft over $1,000. She faces up to 30 months in prison and $7,500 in fines. Bond was continued while a pre-sentence investigation is conducted with sentencing set for 10 a.m. July 28.

Tim W. Burkepile, Continental, was granted a divorce from Cindy L. Burkepile, Continental. They were married April 21, 2005 and have no children.

David R. Maynard, Leipsic, was granted a divorce from Sarah L. Maynard, Leipsic. They were married Oct. 21, 1994 in Leipsic, and have two children.

Janice Medina Panell, Leipsic, was granted a divorce from Gaddiel Medina Panell. They were married June 9, 2003 in Ottawa, and have one child.
